Zhang Dongyu is an artist from Beijing, China. Now lives in Beijing, China and Seattle, USA.
Zhang Dongyu was Born in Beijing, graduated from the Department of Stage Design at the Central Academy of Drama and had served as a First-Class Art Designer at China Central Television (CCTV). She is a member of the China Female Artists Association, a member of the China Institute of Stage Design association, and the China Television Art Association.
Her work primarily focuses on oil painting, encompassing landscapes, portraits, and still life. In recent years, her practice has concentrated on interior scenes, where the integration of mixed media has greatly expanded the visual and perceptual dimensions of her paintings.
Zhang has received multiple Gold Awards for Television Art Design, and her artworks have been featured in a number of prominent exhibitions, including:
